nobody will ever see this since they're too busy screaming into the echo chamber rage bait clown fiesta that steam discussions has become
Use DLSS Tweaks
i have it forced in nvidia profile inspector and it works
Can you force it via Nvidia App?
I used DLSS Swapper and Nvidia Profile Inspector and it worked for me

I'd try going with Jonny Quicksave's recommendation. I hope you get to enjoy your game. :)
I swapped it usning DLSS Swapper. Looks good, I think? I assuming it's working but placebo is a strong thing.

I've not started the game yet. I was 100% sure the game wouldn't even be recognized by the Nvidia app because 98% of gamepass games seem to not be recognized right now and seem to be have worse performance and be more glitchy ..

Opened Nvidia app, refreshed games. And holy FFUUU it's there, it recognized the game. Not only does it recognize the game, yes.. you can override dlss to dlss 4 and turn on 4x framegen!

That said I haven't tested it yet. But the options is there in the Nvidia app and it's not greyed out so it should work!

I restarted my PC and yeah it's in the nvidia app now able to be changed, used DLSS swapper and it's confirmed working preset K, looks incredible :D
Why are you guys using third party programs to swap DLSS bro? Nvidia app seems to support the override function? You can just turn it on in the Nvidia app without any hassle or third party apps needed

Open Nvidia app -> graphics tab -> pick Elderscrolls Oblivion -> scroll down until you're at the driver settings and there click on DLSS override - model presets, pick "use latest". You can also change DLSS overdrive - frame generation to 3 or 4x if you are on 5000 series

Because it actually works and updates whatever version it has to the latest version without lying to you about it. Their software has been completely falling apart for about the last eight months or so. I have nearly zero faith in their software right now.

nvidia app alone doesn't swap the dll for me only let's me choose presets, I've tested it a bunch with reg edit
I had to open up NV App and scan until the game showed up
Had same issue. Tried quite a few things, did a reboot and K was used as it should.
