Height Glitch?
Is anyone else unbelievably tall in first person after leaving the prison area? I didn't notice until i visited the two bandits across the lake but my character is suddenly a foot taller in first person than in third.

Why am I soooo tallll xdd
Week 1 experiences be like

For the time being, save and restart your game. I think it has to do with UE5 when you got from 1st person to 3rd person too quick, something gors wrong

Can confirm, I've also shrunk, my character comes up to most NPCs shoulders, half way up some of the NPCs chests.

anyone have a fix yet for this?
This needs more attention so it gets fixed in the patch, the game still plays fine in third person but I really want to be able to play in first without everything being disjointed and nauseating
Switch to third person.
Save game.
Close game and then reopen
Click load (not continue).
Click the save in third person.
If done right, the camera should be fixed when switching to first person

By the way, I got this bug when I got into the sheogorad universe. I thought I was going crazy. Ha-ha

Best remaster in history am I right?

The Bethesda jank is part of the charm right guys?

So glad they chose to keep using gamebryo engine everyone has been saying they need to go back to it for the last five years haven't they?

I swear once the hype dies down and people spend more time battling poor performance and bugs buyer's remorse will set in.

What races are you guys playing? It might matter even if it is a bug. Racial body dysmorphia was a little more distinct compared to Skyrim when it came to height.

I am just throwing out speculation that maybe the game was trying to adjust for the racial height discrepancy but has somehow been caused to overdo it when it comes to the vertical displacement of the first person perspective.

This is only a temporary fix. As the issue will come back. Sometimes far sooner than you would hope. In my case its whenever I change instance, level up, get on or off a horse, or fast travel. Massive pain in the ass. Hope they patch this.
