Reflection Weirdness!
So far my only complaint is an issue with water reflections.

For some reason my weapon is reflected in water no matter how far away I am, even looking at the ocean from miles away 😂 Other than that Im loving it!

This is a basic limitation of screen-space reflections. It simply mirrors your screen to make the reflection. I first noticed it in Crysis 3.

Know any way to fix it?

Cry Engine has that issue too?

I first noticed it in Ark (Unreal Engine).
It's a pitty that Oblivion suffers from this too now, but I assume there is nothing that can be done about.
Problem persists since ages.
@Just Chill it's a drawback of the rendering technique, unrelated to what engine it is

You can turn Screen-space reflections off in the settings though. That gets rid of the issue.

deactivate screen space reflections
That's what screen space reflections do. This happens in a lot of games that use screen space reflections. If the game has ray traced reflections, that would fix it.

Yes. It also would run even better and smoother than it already does /s :UNK:
Unreal engine is notorious for the absolutely ugliest water reflections in games that don't use RT or regular reflection techniques, it destroys the immersion in a nanosecond

I will never understand a developer who enables screen space reflections in a game, looks at the results, and is like "perfect, ship it!". Apparently they have never seen a body of water in their entire life.
