Controller search button ''A'' problem

I play with an xbox controller.

The A button is used for interact/grab(hold)/dismount, but when I try to search a body, the body wiggles a bit but doesn't open their inventory. I have to press A a few times to open the body to take the loot. This doesn't happen with the E button on keyboard. I think the game might have issues with recognizing whether you're trying to open a body's inventory or trying to move it when using controller?

Not gamebreaking, but pretty annoying. Do more people have this issue?

I've been having this issue on keyboard and mouse. It's super annoying. They could easily fix this by making the grab function take like, 0.5 seconds of button hold. I don't even hold it, I just tap it, and it still doesn't work the first two or so times.

I have the issue on keyboard also, at first I thought it might have been because I rebound E to F, but it seems others have the problem as well

Same here, picking up items and opening containers is broken on keyboard, but it's fine when using a controller.

edit: Somehow it works without an issue today lol

I'm using a wired xbox controller and not experiencing any problems with the 'A' button while searching bodies. I am however slightly miffed that 'Jump' isn't mapped to the controller, and is on the space bar.
