There is mods, you should check things first before just instant believing things blindly.

Since it is UE5, you can use pak mods.
Also it will use the old plugin.txt type mods too.

... There are already mods on Nexus, mind you currently not in-depth mods obviously since it just released but give it time, it is possible to mod.

there is a massive difference in mod support and there being mods available
Looks like the cheat codes are all the same, I have no doubt this will be modded QUICKLY. Other than the body type thing, I'm loving it.

This game, much like SCAMfield, is outsourced to a cheap Indian company. Bethesda just slapped their label on it.

76 does not have mod support
Just because they said x doesn't mean y can't happen. UE5 already had a framework for mods. Give it time, and you'll see mods here. As per usual the community will make things happen while bugthesda just sits there confused.

The mods on Nexus are mostly small replacements, like replacing the intro video with a 0.1 second blank screen so that there's no more intro video

76 does have mod support? What are you talking about? There are literally mods to replace textures and everything of that sort. The official stands from Bethesda on this one is that there won't be any mod support

It's Day 1 of a game that was shadow dropped while people were/are at work.

The proof of concept of, "Can the game be modded?" is "Yes."

If you want a decade plus worth of mods in a day, you're in for disappointment.

Name one thing about Starfield that was a "scam".
adding stuff trough console is a pain in UE5, the other beth games have player.additem and UE5 is using really odd commands hard to remember anything and it doesnt have a search function either which means you need to have the full ID.

No, Fallout 76 does not have official mod support. What you fail to realise that official mod support is only a thing if they release a mod devkit, which isn't actually necessary to make mods. There not being official mod support does *not* mean you can't mod the game.

It's a French developer that they have used before. Calm down buddy.

Soft modding isn't full modding. Changing a few client side items isn't the same as the ability to change anything or everything. We were supposed to have access to our own modding tools.. bugthesda said that wasn't going to happen, and the mods we have now aren't supported either. They could easily block all external modding if they wished to.
