So I'm on xbox, but found this thread and I'm experiencing the same. Alchemy in general seems to crash the game here and there when doing a lot of crafts of the same potion. But it 100% crashes if using stolen ingredients. Seems to be an issue for PC and xbox if that's the case.

So do it outside? Okay, worth a shot
Edit: it do not work
Edit again: okay, I tried changing times to day and slightly moved over to a different area that’s more open. For now, it seems to work-ish
Edit once more: So, while outside and doing it after 3 days of waiting (to get supplies), still making too much of the same potion will crash your game still
4th edit: countered that with constant saves and have to guess now that maybe the leveling up the skill crashes (like if I make one more potion over before I back out and see the level up, than the game will crash)
As for the lighting, the same thing. People crash with various different settings.
I have it on game pass pc, and it's still dying when I make potions. With and without stolen goods, and yes, different settings. This should be fixed soon, cause 50 quid/60 bucks for a game that came out 15 years ago is stupid.
