Charge the Courtyard Bug

So i had a bug when in Kvatch where the soldier didnt register that the mobs were killed and therefore couldn't progress in the quest. This seems to be an issue in the OG game too as i found the following command to fix it: set ms49.courtyardkilled to 9

What I'd like to know, is have i just disabled my achievements now i've done this?
If i go back to before i used the command would i be ok? Bit annoying i had to google a fix for a bug so early into the game.

UPDATE: I had to make a fresh save to ensure I could get achievements again and the below method of just collecting the ring worked to progress the quest

instead of doing commands, go to the counts room by entering the keep and killing the enemies inside. it eventually updates once you find the count

Unfortunately didnt see that as a solution until after i did the command :(

tryied ms49.courtyardkilled9 but same still wont let me progress?
