Shimmering foliage with DLSS
Why can I never get the game to look like it does in the screenshots when UE5 is involved?

Unfortunately, not even the transformer module through NPI does anything for it. It's worked on every game I've tested except this one. Devs really need to stop using UE5 if they don't know how to properly optimize.

I thought using DLSS swapper would help but it doesn't show up on the list. Add game says it already exists.
You could try manually replacing the dlls. I didn't bother trying, as NPI basically does the work for me, but it might be worth a shot. I'm just too burnt out form devs releasing ♥♥♥♥♥♥ UE5 ports to bother fixing their ♥♥♥♥ anymore.

Same. DLSS swapper eventually recognized it but updating didn't help. It's whatever, I'm still enjoying it.
I replaced the dlls manually, earlier, in addition to using NPI for transformer module, and the combination of both seemed to fix framerate issues, or at least lessened them. I'm now at 180 - 250 indoors, and 100 - 130ish outdoors. Quite the improvement.

what did you do with dlss swapper to get that improvement? first time ive heard of the tool but looking for anything to help at this point
I get shimmer unless it's set to DLAA quality, which is not ideal for performance lol.
i changed to latest in nvidia app

no idea if its actually working though and framegen wasnt able to be altered in the app

what version of dlss is in the game 3 or 4 ? and why is there no official information about it?
- Download latest DLSS dll files from Techradar
- Replace the old files in the game directory; you'll find them buried in nearly dozen subfolders in the "plugins" folder
- Download Nvidia profile inspector and run it as admin
- Scroll down to "common" subsection
- Under DLSS, DLSS-FG (if applicable), DLSS RR (if applicable): Select "always use latest" from the dropdown menu(s)
- Under "Enable ResizeableBAR"; set to "enable" (This setting can have some effect, no effect, or negative effect. Disable it accordingly)
- Apply changes and restart PC.

This works on RTX cards only and your drivers must be up to date.

pcgamingwiki lists it as using dlss 3.7

I swapped to DLSS 310.2.1 but it had only positive impact on performance, still shimmering

DLAA works fine with reflex + boost. No more shimmering.
Did you use NPI? The combination of both is what fixed it for me.
