I hope he didn't. It's a very dated game and a lot of people can't enjoyably play it. I think in general that older, popular games should be remade. If traditional fans don't like it, they don't need to buy it, but it makes such franchises more accessible to more people. For example, I'd love a remake of Fallout and Fallout 2. Great games, but too dated for me and a lot of others to play and enjoy.
