Hows the performance?
Just watched a guy playing the game on the 4060 and woooow that was bad. How is my 4080s going to fair?

Edit: sounds like more UE5 nonsense to me so far.

Edit 2: it seems like people are having random performance. Only people who seem to be getting solid FPS are the ones with 4090s and up. Maybe they intended this for higher end PCs? Maybe some people need to drop the settings?

Game is super nice on Ultra with RT on ULTRA too. But in 1440p its like 40-50fps outside. Turning RT off and Antialiasig OFF does not help. This is Unreal engine, its CPU heavy so good VGA does not help. I have Ryzen 5800x + NV4080. BTW I hate DLSS - so I turned it off too, its blurr my ass technique. Still game is pretty playable.
The better the card the worse performance from what I have gathered.

In my experience, FPS isn't that great, but it still feels pretty smooth so.... YMMV

When walking around in the open world, it stutters sometimes. Like it needs to load stuff or something. Not really nice currently.
i9 14900 64gb ram and rtx 4080, it runs fine even without dlss... and most games nowadays dont run good without dlss...

bad on a 2060 low setting. given the low requirements. blame ue5 and lumen, software ray trace which we cant turn off.

dlss did nothing for me on this no fps drops or gains. fsr however 30 gain. avowed, dlss mad things blurred and pixeled. no fps gains.

Back in the day a GPU was an after thought so game was leaning heavily on a CPU. Xbox 360 GPU was also very weak so for this remaster it does not matter if you have RTX 5090 or 3080 , you will need lots of CPUs and RGB ram.

2060 says otherwise. low setting can barely push above 30

my rtx 4070 12gb on mb Z790M with 32gb ram works fine and graphics are very good and im not even on Ultra settings... only silly bug is when climbing on my horse i stand up on the saddle for 1 second, before sitting down - other than the hard chest lockpicking im very happy with Oblivion which i never played before, only Skyrim and ESO so all is new to me.
Better than stalker 2 for UE5 slop.

From what I can see on YT looks like UE5 strikes again.......

7800X3D, 7900GRE, 32GB 6GHz, on Ultra 1080p 60-70 FPS. No drops below 60 in open world, in caves 120+ FPS.

No FrameGen or Upscaling.
its sad when consoles are out performing pcs. thanks ue5 you dog turd engine
i have a 5yr old pc with a newer card and getting 89-120 fps with frame gen on ULTRA everything. pretty damn great
