So, You Think It’s Woke?

Do you remember Jeremy Soule? He composed the soundtrack to the original Oblivion. Do you know why he’s disappeared? Why Bethesda does not want to hire him anymore? I suppose it had something to do with the things that he was accused of. While I may not have this remaster yet, I’ve been watching it on YouTube. I like to see what I’m getting before I get it. I’m a bit paranoid that way. Well, the music in the background is the same music composed by Mr. Soule himself.

Now, tell me. If this game is “woke”, then why did they keep the works of a man now hated by the “woke culture” and implemented it into this remaster? If they wanted to be “woke”, then wouldn’t they have replaced his music with that of a different composer?

Can any of you answer these questions without resorting to attacks and petty insults? If you do any one of those two things, then you have no answer. Therefore, you’re just talking out of your asses.

I hear what you're saying but it would be suicide to completely remove his music. You can remaster a soundtrack without having to work with the original composer, and no doubt that's the case here.

Removing Soule's music would have been suicide for the game, there's no change they could have made that would have pissed more people off. The body type thing is minor enough that they can get away with it.

He was accused by 2 women of raping them in 2019. There was some credibility to the accusations but no official court case. Since that happened he hasn't done a lot of work anymore.

It's been 23 years since his music made it into the series and in all that time, you managed to just not learn that detail while playing the series? That's really sad.

Daggerfall has great music too and inon zur is very good too. I’d rather not have Arrogant s*x pest around.

The elder scrolls have been “woke” since inception. It’s fantasy anything can be anything. I’m really tired of people crying about “woke” in a game where anything is possible.
