Because I'm tired of developers making Unreal Engine 5 slop? We need a change in the industry, too many people are switching to this half assed engine that only accepts the latest and most powerful hardware

Epic Games expects people to upgrade their PC every year which is not feasible whatsoever, especially in the current state of the world and the economy

So what is your current rig ? Because to says you have a rtx 3070 it's great but if you have like others says not a good CPU then you will have a hard time to run it correctly

UE5 is better for modding, game will survive just fine in the long run

You have clearly never modded a UE5 game. Two modders make changes to the same blueprint, now load both. See what happens.

The entire game was converted to UE5. That's enough for me to be convinced that it'll be moddable just fine. All the esp, esm, and bsa files are in the data folder as well. It's all there. It won't take long.

It's always brokies who do this btw. Only a brokie would use poor shaming as a first resort for any type of performance related criticism. They do it because it's hard for them to conceive the fact that spending $2000 on a PC is within access for most people in western countries, therefore they think they're somehow special for having done so.

then dont buy it instead of whining about other peoples choices. stalker 2 runs at 144fps on ultra for me with a premade computer i got for under $1000. stop spreading misinformation because some reddit thread is feeding you slop about how bad ue5 is and propping it up as if its the end-all-be-all to gaming. if its such a big deal, go make your own game without UE5 instead of clogging the forums up complaining about it.

Agreed 100% I cannot stand the unreal engine, yet more and more developers continue to use it. It's pretty much the defacto engine at this point and it's a shame.

I highly doubt 5000 will see the light of day on anybody's PCs, 4090's are staying at the top since the 5000 series is just expensive AI slop

What? They just converted to code to UE5, but the code itself ain't the problem, It's the way the engine renders things

they did not convert the code, the game litterally uses both engines at the same time
