It could've been 70 dollars.
Like .. you don't HAVE to buy it.
Be brave, show us how it's done.

It's certainly not just "reskinned" thankfully...;) If it was I'd agree with you. But the graphics engine in the games are are UE5, and the models are all new from the ground up. $50 is not bad for what you get. The original game is 20 years old--this one is brand new. It's more of a remake in most every respect, imo. Another company was responsible for most of the graphics-engine work, as well.

I'm definitely waiting for a sale on this one. To many reports of terrible performance. It would be smart to wait until the bugs have been worked out and it's cheaper. Maybe they can even fix some of the terrible animations I have been seeing from live gameplay.

what do you expect from the company that litterally kickstarted the concept of microtransactions with thair horse armor dlc back in the day?

Gotta wait for the free version known as Skyblivion.

people who think this is some kind of complete remake, you are a sucker and a clown and you deserve to waste your money on this. it's the same game, with the same boring gameplay, with the same clunky interface, and clunky game design. have fun wasting your life on irrelevant out-of-date trash that you could play for free (and probably with far less bugs and performance issues) by playing a modded version of the original game

you're literally paying top dollar for a worse version of skyrim, which itself was just a worse version of morrowind. sad

Thats a positive to you? They ported it to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ jeet friendly engine so they could outsource the work and charge you for a mod.
I just wish this game was smooth, but people keep reporting crashes.

I'm having no trouble with performance at 4k IQ maxed, 3900X and 6900 XT. Win11 Build 26100.3909. 25.3.2 Adrenalins. Considering the game includes the Shivering Isle, expansion, it's worth $50.
One of my favorite games of all time remastered with amazing graphics and a couple of qol tweaks? Yeah, I paid the $60.
