How is the performance?
I ask as I am debating on buying this here on PC or on PS5 as Unreal seems to just be a joke on PC constantly. Does it have the infamous UE5 Stutter? Another title that basically demands DLSS?

EDIT: Running a 4070, 32 GB RAM, i9 14900K - The plan was to run 1440 Res

Yeaaaah. I suppose if anything I can test the waters and refund if it sucks.

Yeah and thats 2007 game
Remade for current hardware, it even has built in ray tracing. It's quite literally not a 2006 game anymore. So you expecting tolerable frame rates on a card 4 generations behind is wild.

Bro... you linked a 1650. Its a remaster of a 2006 game, did you really expect to be playing on a 1650? lmao

7800X3D, 7900GRE, 32GB 6GHz, on Ultra 1080p 60-70 FPS. No drops below 60 in open world, in caves 120+ FPS.

No FrameGen or Upscaling.

Remmaster not remake. A remmaster should not run this bad, its just beyond bad optimization.

Going through the secret tunnel / sewers in the intro it ran great. Getting to the open world is when performance/fps dives. I then capped to 60 and am still greeted with traversal stutters / drops into the 50s/high 40s. Lowering my graphics didn't seem to change anything in terms of performance. Disappointing

Also weird artifacting from weapons when moving the camera, screen space reflection has a weird affect that displays your weapon over a body of water. Sprinting and moving the camera results in weird input delay

relies on upscaling, turning it off waranted about 40fps on high settings. Mind you its a 2006 game that they threw 2025 graphics onto with minor tweaks and enhancements. UE5 games all are slogs like this and require upscaling, why nobody is burning bridges and rioting to get UE5 thrown into the garbage is beyond me, might refund and just play the original with good fps

In my recent experience most people having problems the last few months are on Win 11 24H2. I see them having problems with a bunch of games that work perfectly for me on Win 10. For instance AC Shadows, over 105 hours and not a single crash while just about everyone using Win 11 24H2 are having tons of problems.

Was all good but then jumped into arena as one of the first things to do. well... the arena plays like a slide show. Absolute dog ship and completely unplayable. Not got much hope for the rest of the game now. Might even refund.

Para lo borroso que lo estoy viendo diría que el anterior dlss, habrá que esperar a los nuevos drivers de nvidia
Translation using Deep L spanish to english:
"For how blurry I am seeing it I would say the previous dlss,we will have to wait for the new nvidia drivers."

Yeah I thought so, I am still downloading the game. My internet is slow, I only have 50 mbit speed :(.

If anything I'm surprised a 1650 is getting anywhere close to 30fps - maybe my potato can run this too lol

i9-14900KF

in cavern etc etc game is impressive around 200fps

in open world ? WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELCOME 80fps and 45 0.01% low fps.

ANOTHER game killed by UE5 waiting for DLSS 4 and MFG.
Hey I mean, that is the loss of the 50 series right there, gotta wait for a feature to get max FPS. Main reason im hesitant. Unless I am wrong, are there like 2 DLSS's now?

So just to get this out of the way...this isn't a remaster. It's an overhaul in graphics, different animations and such, it's practically remade...it's a remake. And just because the game has better graphics and WAS ONCE a 2006 game doesn't mean older hardware will run it the same. 2006 was almost 20 years ago, they put a lot into this version of the game and you should very well be able to see that. A 1650 isn't going to cut it anymore
