How is the performance?
I ask as I am debating on buying this here on PC or on PS5 as Unreal seems to just be a joke on PC constantly. Does it have the infamous UE5 Stutter? Another title that basically demands DLSS?

EDIT: Running a 4070, 32 GB RAM, i9 14900K - The plan was to run 1440 Res

ps5 just going be some downscaled 720p medium graphics

my self playing on ultra. on a 3080ti its fine

you can change graphics so wont be a problem on lower end pcs.

4090 with i710700f, bottlenecks the CPU and runs like garbage. Also the options for frame generation are greyed out despite my 4090.
Depends upon your system....
UE5 problem, it's mean problem vram leak, stuttering, and graphic are good far but near it's AOUCH

i9-14900KF
RTX 5080
32gb ram

in cavern etc etc game is impressive around 200fps

in open world ? WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELCOME 80fps and 45 0.01% low fps.

ANOTHER game killed by UE5 waiting for DLSS 4 and MFG.

try to go for dlss performance setting. i cant see a big difference, except the fps is way better than balanced for me.

I have a 4070 and 5800X. On ultra settings using DLAA, I get 40+ fps in the open world.

As soon as I stepped out of the sewers performance is all over the place for me might be fixed with a patch but still not as optimised as i'd like but its better than most remasters

Very poor for me. Typical UE5 stuttering, and yes, you must have DLSS. I am above recommended specs, and the game defaults my settings to High. Even turning them down the game poorly. Hardware RT off and frames capped at 60. Still bad. Loading into new areas, especially outside, chugs my system hard.

This isn't helpful. What resolution?

Damn not even a steady 60 ouch
I'm playing at 4K with a very old 6700 XT and 5700X3D, and I'm getting around 60-100 FPS on FSR3 Balanced with frame gen. Trying to run at native 4k is basically 20-30FPS.

I'm running a 7900XT, 7800X3D, and 32GB and it runs OK. I was playing with upscaling off during the tutorial and was getting a steady 70-80fps. Once I got outside it tanked to between 40-55. I read that FSR actually looks better than antialiasing, so I'm going to play around with those settings.

Also, I turned shadows from ultra to high to test the impact and I actually had a 15fps increase, so if anyone looking to squeeze out more fps, I recommend playing with your shadows setting.

It's the stuttering that really pisses me off. I played through Silent Hill 2 (great remake), but that stuttering was horrific. Wished I just played it on PS5--I hear Dead Space remake has the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ issues.

Beyond bad 30fps at low settings with dips, worst optimization i have ever seen in a remmastered title/
