FOV adjust in console disables achievements?
Adjusted FOV in console instead of menu and am not getting achievements. Should I just start a new game at this point?

There is a setting for FOV in the normal settings
So it looks like if you start a new game you'll get achievements as long as you don't open the console, even if it's for FOV. I could understand stopping people from TCL-ing their way through Oblivion towers but geez

This is not working for me.

I just wanted to hide HUD with "tm" and now I'm f*cked...

I restarted from the main menu, saved over my original save it worked out. Locking out achievements because of using console commands at all seems dumb in a single player game imo. Sorry it isn’t working for you mate. I wonder why they programmed it that way?
disabling achievements is dumb xD its a single player game.
Had to disable console commands button in razer synapse to not open it by accident

*Gasp* still not working at all, just sent a message to the support but they might be busy trying to thread lock every "body 1&2" madness

Yeah, more insane that you need to use a scope to see the barely visible note written to not use it

After starting a new game I did hit the tilde key and the window with the "Use of any commands will disable achievements" window opened, but then I hit the tilde again and the window closed and I still got the achievement for leaving the sewers. My guess is if you put ANYTHING in the console you are S.O.L. Really dumb decision by Bethesda.

That's strange that's the one I use (and the one that has been THE key forever). I mean hey if you can't open it you won't get achievements locked out I guess so....yay? :P
