Bought the deluxe. Unlike Skyrim, Oblivion didn't need mods to be the GOAT.

Oblivion Remastered has been developed by Virtuos, a third-party company based primarily in France, with original developer Bethesda overseeing the project.

shame they didnt even hire americans to do it

Mod support not officially.. but ue5 is very moddable. Unofficial mods (nexus) will be here in no time.

There's no OFFICIAL support; the game can still be modded. Bethesda just doesn't officially help with troubleshooting. So, if you're having issues, you'll have to request aid from the mod community.

Your opinion, or a fact? Not challenging, just wondering. A decent sized Oblivion mod of my own is still up on Nexus, and I'm not sure how it could be imported unless the design code and rules of the original game are maintained.

Just wondering -- how long did it take Skyrim to have OFFICIAL mod support? Or Morrowind or Daggerfall? I don't think the latter two ever had official mod support.

Morrowind did have an official Creation Kit. No idea how long it took them to release that one though, but it took Skyrim 3 months to get one.

Somewhat trolling, somewhat bored and annoyed there isn't a Morrowind remake instead. I came in here looking to see if it would at least have mod support, but apparently it won't. Oblivion had some good things, but the main quest was trash.

unlike skyrim, oblivion actually NEEDS mods.. the oblivion levelling up system is literally one of the dumbest and most broken systems in any rpg game ever.
I think I might actually prefer oblivion to skyrim but saying "unlike skyrim, oblivion doesn't need mods" is just beyond stupid.
