I'm getting a pop up on launch saying the title of this post. I looked it up and it seems like most people think you need to get a new graphics card when this happens, but I have a rtx 2080 super, which is above the recommended card. I also just updated my drivers. Any ideas?

It's happening exactly the same to me with Oblivion. Let's see if someone can help, because I've tried everything.

Just to double check, what is the date are your drivers?

Same question. And if you're using a laptop or device with two GPUs, are you running the game with your dedicated GPU?

For the driver question:

One way to check is in the Start menu -> search, typing in "dxdiag", left clicking on the blue icon with the yellow X for Dxdiag, ignoring any certificate/signatures message, then going to the Display or Display 1 or Display 2 tab. On the right side, there should be a date and if these are NVidia, these should have a date on or past November 2024.

Uhm.. Mine says Nov 2020? Lol

But how do I update it? Never been an issue before and if I go to updates it says current drivers are installed.

If you want to know which of the 3 components your PC fails to meet, provide the following info:

Go to Steam client > Help > System Information

Copy and paste here the following info:
CPU Brand: Driver: Driver Version: Driver Date: DirectX Card:

In Windows > Start Menu > Settings > System > About > Windows specifications

Hit "Copy", and paste it here as well:
Edition Version Installed on OS build Experience

If you know your GPU driver is outdated, you have to reinstall it manually by downloading it either from amd.com or nvidia.com websites.
Most automatic updates will fail if you are on versions that are too old.
