Like 75% of the gnomes in the game are gay, Shadowheart is canonically bisexual and has a trans friend, the Emperor (i.e., the "Baldur[an]" in "Baldur's Gate") is canonically bisexual and had a gay dragon lover, the entire game is set up for you to repeatedly take the side of refugees, a gigantic portion of the voice cast are clearly MLE types, and no amount of, "b-but you can just kill them all...!" changes that it's the gameplay equivalent of cutting off your nose to spite your own face.
