The original Oblivion is a classic with a huge fanbase. This is just a remaster of the old game. The only known "woke" changes so far are that they changed male/female to Body Type 1/2. That's almost nothing. You see the text for a few seconds in the character creation screen. That hardly makes the game any kind of referendum on "wokeness in games". They made one small tweak no one even knew about until after they bought it. If the game is good (and it IS a classic), it'll sell well regardless. It'll have little to no impact in the debate or the data (game sales woke vs not woke) one way or the other.

I couldnt agree more. anti-woke "gamers" try and act like, Concord, Dustborn, and other "woke" games are the face of gaming, and they failed because they had light political themes and nothing less. but the harsh reality is that these games had no appeal beyond being cringe, and they wouldve easily failed regardless of political affiliation.

It's kinda tragic in a way. There are so many great games out there that they refuse to play because they have things that they deem as 'woke' and thus to them are trash. People so stuck in the past that they cry and whine when a game uses body types instead of Male/Female. It's ironic when people like that call others snowflakes 'cause at that point it's pure projection.
