Crashing on startup??

The game crashed during shader compilation now it just crashes every time I try to boot it up. I have a 4090. Amazing stuff

Same, crashed on initial shader build, keeps crashing ( 13700KF + 4070 + 32GB )
restart, verify files, delete temp files didn't help.

No issue for me. Delete the shader folder, and try again. easy.

So I re-installed the game, it still did not attempt to compile the shaders again and still runs into the same error message / crash to desktop.

I'll check this forum to see if someone has a fix. If I can't find one I guess I'll just ask for a refund and never look back.

That's a shame. I was really looking forward to play this game.

Okay so the crash is caused by one of nvidia's .dll files that ship with the game.
Go to: Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace\nvidia\DLSS\Streamline\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64

and delete or rename the file sl.pcl.dll

The game will start up normally then.

Worked for me as well. Im on a 5900x, 4090, 32gb ram.

For anyone having crashing on startup using nvidia roll back to version 572.83. Version 576.02 seems to not work for this game.
