If you don’t mind playing at like 20FPS on lowest settings, it will work at least.

I guess the performance will be terrible, though.
I'm installing on deck now, will report back

Thank you, please tell me it could run at minimum 40FPS with FSR to Quality/Balanced and NO FrameGen!

Game defaults to low settings with XeSS enabled and has 4 frame rate options, 30, 60, 120, and uncapped, switched over to FSR balanced with frame gen off and the starting cell runs around 50-70 fps, drops to 40 when Uriel and his entourage show up, guess back up to 50 when you enter the hidden wall in the cell

Not promising :( I wonder how it performs in outdoors!

It feels worth it so far, I'm currently at the tutorial goblin cave

Will post here when I get outdoors, I will say so far it's mostly sat in high 50's since fighting the first Dagon cultists

I will say, there are 5 FSR options, native AA, quality, balanced, performance, and ultra performance, everything I'm benchmarking is in balanced, switched to performance and saw an about 10 fps boost, haven't seen it drop below 40 fps yet, just got reunited with Uriel and picked birth sign

Just left the sewers, on balanced with everything on low 20 fps in open world, performance with everything on lowest 30 fps, ultra perf gets about 35-40

For me personally I feel like the trade off is worth it for the mobile aspect, I mostly bought it to see if it's playable, which it is if you're okay with the frame rates for the settings as I did them, but I'd recommend sticking to an actual PC for it, I'm still gonna do a credit roll on the deck as I'm challenging myself to get as many credit rolls on the deck in a year, I'm currently at 11 games is anyone's interested in that

If you're comfortable with the trade off of not having mods I'd say it's your money but if you already have a main PC just buy it here on steam so you can mod it once they release the creation kit

Sorry for the quad comment, it appears even people running high end hardware are having similar fps on high that the deck has on low, so I'd say it's definitely possible that a performance patch is on the way and if so I'll post an updated framerate check at such a time one is released, do keep in mind UE5 tends to have performance issues on launch

just what i came looking for! i'm perfectly fine with it looking a bit worse to play it on steam deck. plus, getting it here instead of xbox will open up more mod options down the road. i'm sure mods will be added to the xbox version eventually, like the other bethesda games, but there will be way more choices playing on steam deck.
