I'd say it's more of value of money rather than not being able to afford something.

54.99€ for old game, especially without discount for original owners, can be quite steep, considering that we're not talking about brand new game.

Because not everyone is a sh*t eater

It's over $60 here and I already own the game. Why should we buy it again when mods exist

Brand new games are literally 7000% worse than any oldskool game wtf you talking about.... Gen Z mobile gamer I assume?

It's a remaster.. not a remake. It's incredibly greedy for wanting 55€ for a upscaled/better textured game from 2006. I'm gonna torrent it just out of spite, because this is ridiculous.
It's a half baked remake cashgrab of an 18 year old game. It's not worth 50.

Wouldn't family sharing be beneficial for at least you and the wife or am I misremembering how family share works
I don't think its the fact that £50 is a lot of money, its more the fact its not very good value. Its the same price as an actual whole new game. Instead of an old game in a new frock. After a few hours once the nostalgia has worn off, will most ever play it again. Probably not.
