Oblivion Coffee Table ☕ ☕ ☕ ☕ ☕
Take a seat. Pour a cup. Whether you’re playing the remaster, still clinging to the original, or just passing by with a nostalgic heart – this thread is for casual Oblivion talk in all its forms.

The jank. The magic. The guards yelling. The NPCs walking into walls. The new textures (or lack thereof). It’s all welcome here.

Things you can talk about:
• Your experience with the remaster so far
• Best moments, weird bugs, beautiful views
• Favorite quests, cities, or characters
• Mods you’re using or hoping for
• The eternal question: has Sheogorath aged like fine cheese?

No structure. No pressure. Just vibes.
Whether you want to rant, share screenshots, or wax poetic about the time you stole 87 watermelons and crashed the physics engine – this is your table.

☕ Talk away.

So… 120 GB.
I downloaded the Oblivion remaster, made myself a coffee, and by the time I came back… it was still downloading.
120 GB. For Oblivion.

I mean, I love this game. Deeply. But I still can’t tell if I installed a remaster or half of Nirn.

Pretty beefy but to be honest its a remake at least not a pure remaster. Well when the og game arrived i went a lot in clubs and didnt play a lot. Im glad i can dive in now, als im huge on morrowind and skyrim. That games i played a lot
Man i hope they do morrowind Next
The remaster is kino, could just be nostalgia hitting me hard but so far it's very solid.

Morrowind would be insane. This had so many variety with magic. Oblivion i think brought the game to a wider audience though
all this discussion is making me kinda want to reinstall the original oblivion and mod it up again haha. Real shame the remaster doesn't have any mod support.

I am curious tho, any linux users playing the remaster? Hows it running for yall?

Eeash, 128gb is enormousness. I hope they somehow manage to improve the loading times for the people what download that much.

Wait you serious? Thats one of the best things about the elder scrolls games. Probably temporary
I think this was the case with starfield as well. Would be a mistake with no mod support

Was my first big 'next gen' title of the Xbox 360 era, and my first Elder Scrolls game. As such it's definitely my favourite of them and just finishing the tutorial and stepping back out into Cyrodil again after 18 years feels like coming back home, it's truly splendid and I can't wait to see it all through. Lovely to see everyone else getting on board ~
For many it was. Mine was morrowind which i modded to the end. Oblivion time was my Party time thats why i missed it more or less

60 fps outdoors with DLSS Quality no Frame Gen 1440p
I want TODD as a Pope. I played original TES games in their release times since ARENA. I think Todd should become Pope for greater good of us all.

It's time to accidentally bork my save all over again by waiting outside as a vampire
This Game is also great on the steam deck
