<Missing Name>?

What causes the <Missing Name> text to appear on some items? I haven't been able to figure it out and I'm trying to narrow my search down even further.

One thing is that I have no mods that add extra items to the game, yet the missing name text is showing with a ring icon. It also shows on items with a blank icon, so I don't see any additional clues.

Thoughts?

I'm using Vortex this time around. It's made things much easier, but I can't get LOOT to work with it, so I'm eyeballing the mod list.

I just realized that I never clarified my initial question. I'm trying to find put if they are items from a mod that I am no longer using or if they have to be from an existing one. I was wondering if it was a possibility and if something like that can also trigger the missing name text.

I'm aware. I was seeking help in narrowing it down. I think I have an idea though.

I figured it out. It was because there were still folders present in my data files from mods I had uninstalled.

If you're playing with the console and rez NPS scripted to die or be found dead it will say I HAVE NO SPEECH and not have a name listed. At least they did in the OG. I have rezed a few in this version and they have generic speech now,
