Poison's Apples and Lover's Kiss

#1. How long do Poison Apples take?

Glarthir is my favorite murder target, since no one cares about him.

Anyways, I used lover's kiss on him then gave him a poisoned apple.

To be extra sure, I snuck into his house and ate all his food.. it's been two days and he's not died...

Kept looking for him everywhere, thought he was still alive and wondering.

Found him slumped over dead in front of his house.

WELP that didn't work out right.. Lucian didn't come welcome me to the brotherhood.

#2. I'm 60 stealth, and for some reason Lover's kiss always alerts my target before they go into stasis..

Is there a way to prevent this? The eye is always fully closed.

(also is Lover's Kiss illegal in the Arena?)

Just wish they counted as a true kill for the the Dark Brotherhood.
How long does the barrel take to respawn?
I've been waiting days and nothing.

Unfortunately, the true kill has to be done by the player directly. The apples should respawn every 3 days but that may be a bug. You can also buy them from M'raaj-Dar in the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary. Deepscorn Hollow has chokeberry plants, allowing you to make potions with the same effect. They aren't weightless so you can't reverse pickpocket them, you'll have to leave them lying around with no other food/drink options so npcs will use them
