Spells fail?
I've noticed that frequently spells simply fail. I apply a heal wounds, and recover no health. I use a Burning Touch on a zombie, and it gets the little flames animation all over but suffers no HP reduction. Usually the next heal or attack works normally. Bug or feature?

sounds like a bug, only morrowind and early had spell failure

Sounds like you're wearing armour which is reducing your spell effectivness

Not wearing armor, and anyway armor reduces the strength of the spell or its duration, not outright make it fail.

armor doesn't reduce spell damage so much to do 0 damage though only like 20%
