Dark Brotherhood line not working?

Ive gotten to the point where ive killed rufio but no matter what i do or what guides i follow i can not get Lucien to visit me. does anyone know whats going on

Rufio is the quest you get assigned AFTER you murder someone and Lucien shows up.

You can't be sleeping in a city or anywhere with guard presence. For me, He showed up once I had slept at the Jemane brothers' place since it's in the middle of nowhere with no guards.

ill try that but you also get another visit after killing rufio thanks anyways
