How to create lightweight health potions?
I am a bit confused. I am master alchemist and also have master gear.

Some of my health potions weigh a humongous 1, while others with the same healing value weigh only 0.1.

If I only use Cairn Bolete Cap I get potions with a weight of 1, if I mix Cairn Bolete Cap with Boar Meat the potions only weigh 0.1.

Now I made some potions mixing Cairn Bolete Cap and Boar Meat and after switching back to only using Cairn Bolete Cap the weight stays at 0.1.

Is that glitched? Red somewhere that the weight of the potions is half the weight of their ingredients. But that would make potions made from only Cairn Bolete Cap 0.1 and not 1.

Or is there a penalty if potions are made from a single ingredient?

regards

The weight of the final potion you make is correlated to the weight of each ingredient you use in crafting. It's not a simple addition. The final weight can be as little as 0, or as heavy as up to about 5.

"is there a penalty if potions are made from a single ingredient?" No. However, adding a lightweight ingredient (not just a random one: it must be consumed in crafting) should, in general (not always, possibly because of numerical rounding), reduce the final weight.

Using just a single ingredient, you limit your options. If that ingredient is heavy, you get a heavy potion.
Cairn Bolete Cap is 0.1, so the final potion should be in no way 1.
