Looked up something odd from my Unifi router...
I have Temu and it's related IP blocked so to speak, but I never use the app (my family might) and wondering why it's sending packets out from my pc last night when I was playing Oblivion at that time?

Then realized since Virtuos is a Chinese developer, it's actually sending telemetry to China.

EDIT: It looks like the ip leads to a server in California.

Basically the app blocker has a wide range of ips it blocks since the app also uses public ips.

Bet your trace will end at MS :)
I'll probably need wireshark or something else to see what server the game's telemetry is trying to contact. I know in the ToS Zenimax is the ones doing the telemetry but I'm not sure if it's solely them alone.

EDIT: For those interested, found something.
https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/688

it's anti-telemetry.
For information they send:

Computer hardware specs
Experience gain (every time)
Level up
Npc kills
Death information
Performance
Settings

It's the X-Files man, the truth is out there!

No it's likely a coincidence, it probably came from a mobile app on someones phone.

Coming out of a desktop pc's address as the source? Even though it's not even on said computer? Must be some sort of malware if it's able to go along the router to get into PCs and send packets out using those devices.
