Worth Buying?
I really liked Skyrim and this looks promising but I don't like watching walkthroughs, I'd rather play the game myself so is it worth buying?

I mostly like playing as a mage in games even though I ended up playing as an assassin in Skyrim because I also love stealth. How are mages and stealth in this game? Is this game a similar experience like Skyrim? Thanks in advance!

It is not Skyrim but you'll get to see where a lot of Skyrim's DNA came from. Magic and stealth are both very good, eventually you will have access to a spell creator that can make some truly bonkers stuff. You don't equip spells to a hand like in Skyrim, you just have a spell equipped and a cast button so you can cast spells with a sword and shield out.

Go for it. Oblivion was a fine game before and now it's a fine game that looks really good.

Did they improve only the graphics or did they also improve things like animations, mechanics, melee, etc?

Aside from the ability to sprint and some very, very minor tweaks it is pretty much the same game from 2006.

Ah I see. Thanks for the info!
Take Armorer no matter what character you make.

No. Game is broken. Try "free demo version" and find out. I did refund. No optimization, memory leaks, constant crushes, gameplay bugs.

IMO, if you enjoyed Skyrim then this would be a must play. Don't look up optimized builds or anything like that. Just dive right into it. The Adept difficulty is pretty chill and would give you enough freedom to try out different approaches, and builds until you settle in. You can try pumping it to Expert after that. Master is broken. It's always been broken. That's where us old guys with our exploits and game-breaking shenanigans reside xD
Depends on your rig...

If it's a 4070 or high I recommend..you may be disappointed with 8gb Vram tho...not speaking for everyone but it seems to be the common theme around here

I wasn't planning on following any guides anyway. Take it nice and slow, enjoy every second of it. If it's anything like Skyrim it will hit the sweet spot of nostalgia!

I've got 3070 Ti but the issue is my CPU... I was one of those "lucky" people who bought a 13th gen intel core cpu (i9-13900f) if you know... you know! :cleandino:

yesss, and then find one of the many areas where you can maximize stealth early on.. you know how it is :p
No not yet and its not 'better than Skyrim' or even Morrowind. What always held it back imo is level scaling and there's loot levels as well but there's mods for it, if you buy the game mod it. (also this remastered version may not perform well for you)
