Sorry you're having a bad time but most are not having problems. Consider taking your specs and see what you can improve.

See I’ve had people tell me that but I have the recommended specs posted on the oblivion steam page and it still crashes every 2 min. 6800xt 5800x 32gb ram can’t even play the game.
I have 120 hours played.
how do they patch people's crap PCs? cause this runs just fine for me

105.6 for me so far. I've run into but one bugged side quest that has yet to resolve itself (Through a Nightmare, Darkly). I've been taking notes on how some folks solved the same dilemma, and I'll apply those and try again in the future.

The crazy part is that I'm playing on what many around here would consider a "potato".
3.4GHz I7 6700
32 GB RAM
RTX 2080 Super

The game runs pretty smooth on medium settings, and the crashes have been few and far between (mainly with the quest I cited above).
What a bait title to another bait body

They know. They don't care because the game works for them.
Some people are playing on 2060s while others can't even run it on a 5090 9800x3d
i understand where your coming from dude , and its alright not everyone can afford $60. things will get better for you hopfully

I have had no crashes since the latest Nvidia driver update or turning my overclocking off on the CPU. on my 4090 on an I9-11900k 1440P. But I may jump in a little later and it may crash lol. Check for the latest video drivers and perhaps adjust your CPU/memory speed.

I'm not having any issues with the game. Screen resolution set at 3440x1440, graphics settings on ultra, ray tracing turned on and set for quality. 110 FPS with these settings. No lag, no stuttering, runs smooth. No regrets.

Works good here.. apart from the old bugs from the original.

I would buy this "crap" day one again today, and I'm eager to see what the modders can do within a couple of years.

Also runs fine for me on Ryzen 7 7700x and 3060 Ti. 143 FPS indoors, 70-90 FPS outdoors. Even with a nice Reshade. None of the crashes other people on these forums get.
