I finished the game with relatively few issues. None that stopped me from doing everything I wanted to in the game.
Most open world RPG have some sort of optimization issues.
I can't think of a game that has released in a perfectly functional state in...IDK how long. In fact, the industry standard is to release your game, then try to fix it later. If you are an early adopter, you are also offering tacit approval of that practice. I rarely buy anything new myself, for that reason. Plus, the fact that price collusion in the AAA space is completely unacceptable. Although in this instance, it did not release with full AAA pricing.
Somebody's website being down doesn't make them a criminal. Although criminals might be responsible via DDOS attacks and such.
There is already a patch that has been integrated into the console versions. Which would suggest that it's also being adapted to PC and the million different PC rig configurations available. They aren't required to keep you abreast of their every move, although it would be nice if they did.
It's never healthy to rage over a video game.
9th time?
False.
At this point every release will be treated the same, wait 2-3 years for a deep sale, a patch or two and some extra content.
Not buying a full priced game from them again, just paying a premium to be a play tester.
