Why, in the world, is there not an autosave function that saves every few minutes? To compensate for the amount of crashes?
i stopped counting those ue5 crashes
i opened a support ticket with Bethesda, did everything, nothing helps

it has quick saves and manual saves, on top of autosaves, that not enough for you? how many more ways to save do you need?

switch back to the previous graphics card driver. It helped me. No crashes so far.

there a not enough saves my dude, if the game crashes as it does.. no autosave can help you if it hasnt autosaved in a while

you can use quciksave.. because autosave only works after specific events.. but if you forget your quicksaves.. you are bound to lose progress..

It autosaves literally everytime you move between cells. Thats every outside world to inside transition. Every seperate room transition. Every different area of a dungeon. I think the longest time I've had between 2 auto saves was probably 15 minutes.

i played metaphor recently, FFVII rebirth, the old Borderlands 2 game (which is still fantastic), a bunch of older racing games, like the need for speed titles.. and those games are older.. but NONE of them crashes.. none..

The amount of saves is directly related to the amount of crashes and the speed of memory loss this game is plagued with. Routinely delete old auto saves for better performance

hm i dont think the 15 minutes holds up in all scenarios.. but. but you are not wrong.. also i just quicksave every 5 minutes if i think about it.. BUT.. the moment you forget and the moment you are not transitioning through areas alot for some reason.. well if it crashes then you are losing progress... and if it happens alot its just.. its jsut so annoying..

PS5/Xbox for the performance win and the more accurate nostalgic factor as well

Try your best to remember your quick save. When climbing a cliff, that is what you have to keep doing.
