Just bought a SSD for this game, will i lose my save files? do i just uninstall/reinstall?
Im lvl 22 will i lose all my saves if i just go into steam; uninstall oblivion; reinstall oblivion (and this time choose my ssd as the location of the files)
is this how i do it

your saves aren't stored in the game path, and you don't need to uninstall, you can just right click on game in library, go to properties and then move the install

Steam allows you to move games to different drives using the move install folder option in the game properties, local files tab.

under bracket Installed files, browse, drag and drop into ssd?
cant find local files tab

Your local saves are in "Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\SaveGames". You can just back them up, if you're worried, and copy them back later, if necessary...

alright all works now, i had a couple of things to do but mainly go in diskmgmt.msc (windows+R) and right click the ssd rectangle unused something something and do whatever the first option was to name the SSD as a letter
then it was all cake

lol why would you buy ANYTHING for this game? It ain't worth it.

Bethesda will never fix their game. They never do!
I just reinstalled today on an SSD and it runs a lot nicer.
