Report a translation problem
-duping items above a certain amount (depends on the cell you're in)
-having too much in storage in one place
-having like 200k+ speed (don't ask)
all ways I've had a CTD
also may be unrelated but mashing 'E' to pick up an item I've used telekinesis on the second the spell wears off seems to sometimes cause an infinite loading screen the next time I try to change zones (again seems to be random and may not be the actual cause).
Blinking
Giving the game The People's Eyebrow
Feeling relaxed for a quest well done
Lol, honestly I've not had a lot of crashes but they do come every once in a while. No telling what causes them because I've done those same actions before without problems. For example, I just tried to step out into the courtyard of Battlehorn Keep and the game crashed. This was after I'd already come and gone to gather some upgrades.
Just to add: also crafting alchemy too fast is reported to crash the game.
And for the marskmanship, it is not for every system, some people have it, some does not.
And lastly, you want to add the suggestion to delete/rebuild shader cache when people update their GPU drivers, as shaders mismatch are the main reason people is experiencing stutter, freezes and crashes.
Going into a new area/loading screen
Turning the game on
Opening the menu
Crafting potions. Not sure if they're made of stolen reagents, but I very, very rarely steal.
Walking through any area
Passing time by waiting
Sleeping
These are the ones I can remember. I took a break because the game's stability was a huge letdown and very frustrating.
1. First day, playing with video settings, tried to toggle FSR frame gen to ON in the Main Menu settings -- instant crash to desktop. I don't do that any more. DLSS works fine anyway, but I just wanted to try them all.
2. 30+ hours in, Waited in an inn in the Imperial City and 15 NPCs all walked in at the same time, all trying to talk, walk their paths, and do their routines all at the same time. I don't do that any more.
No crashes besides these two. Yet.
My character doesn't fight with anything but a bow and arrows, and I've never had the notorious crash related to Paralyze. Yet. Archery is at 84 as of last night.
Gotta separate those criminal goods. Put them together you G.E.C.K. the universe.
That is also a problem. Another reported crash is due to saving too many times in the same area with the quicksave. So be aware that is also an issue. Use either manual saves, or avoid spamming f5
*Quick Traveling rapidly, like stupid amount rapidly - Crash (understandable)
*Paralyze enemies - Crash (but I figured out a work around and I get no crashes anymore)
*Infinite loading screen a few times - Ctrl Alt Delete (not a crash but still annoying)
*When exiting the game - Crash (only happened once but still a crash)
*Using the Sprint option - Crash (because your PC is struggling like crazy to load everything up because you're moving so fast "it was a mistake adding this feature because when you get Athletics 100, Speed 100, and gear that increases those as well, you move fast enough that you don't need to Sprint")
*Encountered a couple bugs on a few things, but nothing that hasn't fixed itself by either reloading a previous saved game, exiting to menu and reloading, or closing the game entirely and reloading. (not a crash but still an annoyance)
Those right there are the only problems I've had with the game so far. A handful of crashes in 100+ hours, I'll take that. I have 130+ Quests completed no problem so far, even Quests that people have said it doesn't work, it's permanently bugged, no way around it, but they all still work for me. If I do come across something odd about a Quest that shouldn't happen, like a "bug", I do those 3 steps, (reloading previous saved game, exit to menu and reload, or close game entirely and reload), everything ends up going as it should after that.
I don't use Cheats nor do I touch any Mods.
I don't spam quick save but I do have a lot of normal saves
It hasn't crashed enough to hurt the experience. Also rebooting is way faster than it was in 2006 so.
