Anyway to add things to a home after you buy one? Such as weapon or armor displays?

Nope, there are weapon racks but they have been non functional ever since original. And remaster have added invisible walls in front of shelves, so it is no longer possible to put anything on them. The only way to 'decorate' anyhting is to put something on tables, drop on floors, bed.

There were a couple mods for the original oblivion that let you decorate your house. One that I remember was a interactive bookcase. You could put all your books into the container and then it would display them neatly on the shelves. Another one was the armor and weapons racks that you're asking about. You could get enough racks to display pretty much every armor set in the game. Hopefully these get ported over for the remaster.

The real problem with decorating your house though is the collision physics in this game. You can walk into a room and suddenly everything explodes onto the floor.

I encountered 1 singular armor display in the game and it is for a certain set of armor.
