Frenzy, Calm and Command Spells Don't Work
This is a Remaster Bug, i don't have this in the Original 2009 game, i made a few Frenzy Spells without realising they'd be useless, they were set to 100 magnitude (up to lvl 25 affected) each time with varying blast radius's and time, after doing much testing i have concluded that frenzy spells don't work, however i just got my hands on the Ruin's Edge bow and that sometimes causes the frenzy effect, so its the spells that are the problem not the effect itself, i hope the devs see this post and fix it so frenzy spells can be used again because they do not work, like i said before i have ran various tests to see if it would work like with or without armor, mage robes etc, my base spell effectiveness is 95% with armor and 100% with mage robes, my intelligence and willpower are both 100 (i made a battle-mage build for my first character) so those are the details if any were wondering and like i said i hope frenzy gets fixed in the remaster as it did work in the original.

That is good to know as I have a build based around using such spells. Have you tried the fear or calm spells? I plan to cap the level at 24 as all the spells I have seen mention the level 25 cap. A way to take advantage of the level scaling.
I Have got 100 on all magic related stats (all magic skills and INT and Willpower), as far as i know i have only done testing of frenzy when it comes to non-damage NPC affecting magic (aside from the persuasion, lock spells, restore, fortify and paralyse as they all work) so i might try the Calm and Command Spells Next to see if they work, i'll test them next but i am sad that frenzy does not work i use to like that spell in the elder scrolls series.

Can Confirm After Testing the Spells That Calm And Command Don't Work, i tested them the same as i did with Frenzy, made a few spells magnitude 100 (affect lvl 25) and it does not work, i have tried several times and nope, it seems that Aggro affecting Spells Are Bugged In The Remaster, i have tried it on bandits, deadra, creatures, absolutely none of the frenzy, calm or command spells work at all, i even tried the same methods with the robes etc., still no affect, i hope the devs fix this, these spells were great in the original so i don't know why they don't work now.

What level were you and what level were the things you cast them on?

Are you wearing armor? As far as i remember a 95 % effective spell in Oldblivion didn't work on anything while a 100 % effective spell mostly worked.

That is a good point.

As i said before i tested with both armor (95% affect) and without armor (robes) and it never worked even when it was 100% spell effectiveness, it never worked on any of those specific spells, the Aggro affecting spells don't work in the remaster. i have tested this.

Is this happening with just custom made spells? Have you tried using some of the vanilla command spells?

It sounds as though you are testing with crafted spells.

Just curious, but have you tried any of the vendor purchased spells of the same name to see if they work?

It would be a good baseline and if they do work it would mean spell crafting is to blame and not the spell effect themselves.

yes i tested the store bought spells, no effect, and as the game scales with level i am probably too over leveled for the store bought spells to work as i said before i am currently level 35

That could be your problem.
If you are level 35 then most things you try to hit will be close to that level as well which means the level 25 cap is simply too low.
The only exception would likely be some named NPC's in the cities which have fixed levels.

Well Maybe, But at the same time i tried the store bought ones early game too pre-level 15 and they still didn't work so not sure if its truly my level or if the spells actually are just bugged.
Going to have to test this out myself when I get a chance to play again. Some people experience bugs that others don't.

Fear spells work, but calm and frenzy don't. Lvl 24, no armor, 100% magic effectiveness, and frenzy isn't doing anything. I cast fear on the same enemy and they ran away. Tested both purchased spells and custom spells
