I uninstalled it and went to try and reinstall it and now its saying I have missing file privileges. No words for how the last several hours have been. I contacted steam. Because now I can't reinstall the freaking game.
My game is freezing a few seconds after loading a save. The CPU temp spikes from 76'C to over 90'C and the frame rate jumps around wildly before the freeze. Then the CPU idles at 0.8% utilisation.

tried turning down the graphics, didn't work, tried it with all AMD settings turned off, lasts until I click the mouse, I validated the files, yet it's still happening.

it was working fine last time I played, on May the 6th.

----EDIT-----

Okay, so deleting the shaders file seems to have fixed it. But time will tell.

I had a similar issue updating to 576.4 Geforce drivers. Reverting to the previous drivers fixed it for me. Unfortunately now MFS2024 is recommending to upgrade to those drivers in their latest update so not ideal.

No issues here. Able to run the game at 60FPS with a 4070 Super and Ryzen 9 7900X.

turning back to 576.28 driver version did the trick for me.

R u getting 60 FPS? I never understood how some people are experiencing lag. I'm getting crisp 60FPS with a 4070 Super and Ryzen 9 7900X.

I had crashes on start up as well. I took out my GPU and RAM.. and plugged back in to make sure they were seated all the way in. I then ran a 2nd power cord from the supply to the GPU instead of 1 cord and splitting it. I havent crashed after.

Good for. I however, got the same issue as above, constant crashes suddenly. The game has a lot of lag spikes that were noticeable before but never that much of an 'issue'. It went from 70-80 fps to 30-40 fps for a sec. Annoying but not game breaking.

Now whenever there is a lag spike, which is either random or when loading, it crashes. Game suddenly become unplayable for me.
