Missing DIalogue
I was doing the thieves quest and saved "Amusei" from prison and convinced him to join the thieves guild. Later on he came to me to tell me the "Gray Fox" was requesting my presence. During our discussion I saw a dialogue option I hadn't selected yet. The option was (Hieronymus Lex).

I selected the option (Hieronymus Lex) when talking to him and there's no voice audio. I selected other options like (Gray Fox) and (Rumors) which both had audio Dialogue! It's just the one option (Hieronymus Lex) that has subtitles, but no voice audio. His lips don't move either, he just stands there as if I didn't choose a dialogue option whatsoever! Is this a glitch? Or did they actually miss a dialogue line?

Any mods? If so check if anything was done involving Amusei in any of them. This sounds like something mods did to add dialogue back in the day without having to add actual voice acting. Basically they included an empty audio file to get the custom dialogue to work.

I haven't installed a single mod.
I've encountered a few characters with silent (but fully subtitled) tracks. Mostly Argonians.

No mods either (yet) Also have had many instances of dialogue stopping short mid-sentence and then the remaining subtitles blinking by too quickly to read.

Maybe it's to do with how Oblivion's code interacts with UE5?

Huh maybe. Now that I think about it the PC version of oblivion remastered hasn't had a single update yet. So it's possible it's some sort of glitch.
