Permanently Damaged Attributes?
So. I have damaged attributes. I've done everything to get them up: potions, spells, chapel alters, even the console. Is this a bug? Please help.

Did you check the Magic::'permanent effects/status' tab?
click on the 'red down-arrow', what is the source of the damage

.. did you catch vampirism?

which attributes? And have you looked at your gear? Some pieces of gear penalize skills or attributes. There are also a few modded spells (toggleable spells) sometimes get stuck in the wrong state. Giving more information might help us solve this.

Scales of pitiless justice grants bonuses and -2 to personality.
Check your items, some have attribute penalties. Also Scales of Pitiless Justice drain your Personality.

Clicking on "the red down-arrow" does nothing.

As far as I'm aware, I do not have vampirism. I have active curses or diseases present. I have no cursed armor or items. I have used the alter blessing more than once. I contracted a disease in between when I made this post and then went to play, and then now when I made this comment, and was cured of it. My stats did not show as red when I had the disease. The more I go on, the more I believe that this might be a glitch.

Intelligence, Wisdom, and Endurance. I did not use nor do I have any modded spells.

I do not have those in my inventory. My affected stats are Intelligence, Wisdom, and Endurance.

I've also had this happen as well, this can sometimes happen as an after effect from a poison or skooma but I've found it most often happens from spell effects that reflect back onto yourself.

It can't be dispelled, it can't be restored with spells or potions, it can't be removed with shrine blessings, the only solution is to reload a prior save.

That sounds like a glitch. I was afraid of that. I have no prior saves to when it wasn't a problem. I appreciate your confirmation.

There are quest items that grant you buffs and debuffs and these items can't be removed from your inventory, unless ofcourse you force them to be removed, like being jailed.

If the item was equiped then the item is deequiped and removed BUT the stats remain, including negative ones.

Maybe that's the case with you.

I had a penalty to two stats too, and I am fairly certain the culprit was the nightmother's blessing, which is permanent.
