Missing Ayeleid Statue
In the past the ten statues were at Culotte, Fanacas, Mackamentain, Moranda, Ninendava, Vilverin, Welke, Wendelbek, Wendir and Wenyandewik. This time all were right where they'd always been except Welke. The statue that used to sit on the altar next to the boss lich wasn't there. Has it been moved in the remastered version?

No, the statues were all as before, although one was lying on the ground, as if it had fallen down.
But I have a problem with them, too. I made a checklist which statues I had looted, and I had checked all of them off. But the collector counted only nine of them and I could not finish the quest. I sold the one from Vilverin to start the quest and came across the one in Wendir while wandering around. Maybe the game did not count Wendir, because I got it before I received the quest?

I know that if you sell more than one statue before the quest kicks off then it's gone for good. Same if you sell one to another merchant instead of Umbacano after the mission starts. The one in Welke is just not there. I looked behind the altar, even moved the Lich's body in case he'd fallen on it. I went so far as to jump down into the gas pit to search the ground. Tried exiting and re-entering the dungeon, restarting the game and even starting it over from scratch with an earlier save. Just no statue in Welke for me.

i found it. I meant Wendir, not Welke. Apparently hitting the boss lich with a couple of greater fireballs isn't a good idea. It blasted the statue all the way across the chasm onto the floor of the of the walkway on the other side of the pit.

Congrats on finding it :)
