LMAO @ Everyone dropping $50 on oblivion rem*stered like it's not the same mid-ass game from 2006
If you're hyped for oblivion rem****red in 2025, you're either new to gaming, terminally nostalgic, or just straight-up addicted to corporate slop.

THIS IS NOT A NEW GAME IT'S A 20 YEAR OLD MESS IN A PRETTY WIG
They cranked up the resolution, cleaned the textures, and boom—$49.99 price tag like we haven't been modding the hell outta this thing for YEARS. The same wooden animations. The same psychotic NPCs with eyes like dead fish. Same guards with hive-mind telepathy that’ll arrest you for sneezing wrong in Bravil. Nothing meaningful has changed. But somehow it’s worth a full-price drop? Cope harder.

Meanwhile TES6 is still marinating in a zip file somewhere. Where. Is. The. Damn. Sequel. It's been seven YEARS since Bethesda dropped that vague trailer with the mountain and nothing else. They’ve been milking Skyrim on every platform known to man, and now they’re backpedaling to Oblivion like it’s some underground cult classic. Bro, it was janky even in its prime. Memorable? Sure. But let’s not pretend it was flawless just because you are paying for modders' work with Bethesda’s name on it.

90% of this "remaster" looks like it was ripped from NexusMods. I’ve seen better water shaders and lighting in community patches from 2015. Bethesda ain’t innovating; they’re cashing in on your inability to move on.

The fanboys are EMBARRASSING.
“Oh mah gawd the nostalgia 😭 I remember this music!!” Bro, this isn’t therapy. Go hug your Xbox 360 and cry it out, don’t throw another $60 at a mega-corp for a spit-shined antique. Acting like this is some rare gem when you’ve had it in your Steam library for over a decade. Grow up.

Y’all are treating this like it's TES6, and that’s the saddest part.
Bethesda knows you’re starving, and they’re handing you reheated leftovers from a game that already gave you diarrhea in 2006. And you’re saying thank you. Lmao.

i love fortnite
Same people who bought RE4 Remastered.
whatever, the game looks amazing with the right hardware and plays fantastic. its nostalgia, but its more than just a waste of money. The game was incredible back then, so with better graphics and a reworked system people are prepared to relive their experience if it gets a nice work of paint like this. Same with the original tomb raider remasters.

Imagine acting like some people today was alive in 2006. It is 2025 already. We have 19 year Olds that was only born in 2006.

bro these people are paid by bethesda to promote the game, no point in arguing with them xD

they are sitting in a workshop somewhere in india, and just bashing everyone who criticizes the game, kinda pathetic if you ask me

Why do you think you need to make a public announcement with your subjective opinion, as if any of us would listen to some randoms subjective drivel on Steam discussions?

Don't like it, don't buy it. Nobody cares what you think other than to tell you nobody cares what you think.
This reads like its was generated from chatgpt.
people play games to have fun. I had fun playing Oblivion then and I'm having fun playing the game now with better graphics. Sorry that triggers you. Go find a game you have fun playing.

that’s not a clever argument, that’s just what corporations hope you'll say so they can keep serving you reheated trash with zero accountability. You are the reason this industry is rotting. You're the guy who buys Day 1 Deluxe Ultra Scam Editions, gets zero content, and then tells everyone else to shut up about it.

You’re not a gamer, you’re a customer. A repeat customer. The type who gets mugged in an alley and then goes back the next night with your wallet pre-opened.

Your bar is so low it’s underground. Bethesda gives you a shiny turd from 2006 with minor tweaks and you're like, “Yessir, take my money again, daddy Todd.” Meanwhile, the rest of us are stuck in this loop where actual progress gets stalled because guys like you keep rewarding laziness.
OP tried this in the BG3 discussions and was immediately filtered out. Thought you all should know chat, you're welcome. :Coffee_Lucanis:

It literally is that simple.

I am not reading the rest of your response as who cares what you think at the end of the day? What do you hope to achieve here, do you really think people are going to change their purchasing decision based on what you say? (whoever you are).

Literally is don't buy it if you don't like it. I loved the OG and I loved this remaster that gave a fresh return back to the OG game I loved. Only complaint I have is it crashes far too often and runs really badly.

Go and play a game you like, go for a walk, clean the toilet, do something constructive. As ranting like a tantrum throwing 10 year old about a game others enjoy, is a completely redundant activity.

Okay well, I believe we have clashed in the past but I suspect that you are right on the money here. I guess I will leave this guy to be the Steam version of the angry bum downtown who spends his day yelling at pigeons for some reason

Is that you dad? I have never had anyone care so much about what I spent my money except my daddy!!!

If people want to buy and enjoy this game for whatever reason. Doesn't matter if it's because of nostalgia or because it's their first time playing. It shouldn't bother you at all. If you don't like it then that's on you.

your money, or your life?!
so the same as literally every remaster ever? they fixed the levelling system, that alone is worth the price
