Nope, Japanese only. In the game properties English is selected, but the game doesn't seem to have any other translations.
alright thanks

Actually that's not correct. It's just, that the multi-language concept of this game is different from other titles.
For other games you right-click the game and pick the language on the language tab.

For this game, when you buy it, you get two entries in your Steam library:

- Tsukumogami (Japanese only)
- 99 Spirits (same game, English only)

EDIT: Naturally the Forums are separate because of this, which is why you don't really get many English posts here. They are all in the 99 Spirits forum. ;) Also note that "both games" do have language tabs in the properties. Just as far as I know they don't do anything, even though they appear to offer English and Japanese. However you have to pick the version you want to play out of your library.

EDIT2: It MIGHT be, that only the English version gets the Japanese version in a 'bundle' and not the other way around. I'm not sure about this, but if it were to be true you would have to make sure to buy the English version on steam. (Which then would give you both language versions.) I got it in some bundle, which gave me both versions automatically.

Yeah, it looks like 99 spirits comes with this, but not the other way around. I wasn't even aware that there was another version in English so I appreciate the help.

Originally the Special Edition of 99 Spirits (the translated and localized English version) came with this as a bonus. People complained since there was no way to upgrade and get it if they had already bought 99 Spirits regular edition, so the devs changed it and Tsukumogami is now a freebie when you buy any version of 99 Spirits.

As it's been stated, this is the Japanese original with no changes. So that means it's in Japanese and any UI or localization changes for the English version won't be found here. I don't know offhand, but I'm fairly certain for technical reasons 99 Spirits does not support language select. Probably due to text wrapping and UI issues with the games being very text heavy.

Really this is just bonus material for 99 Spirits, but it is listed as it's own game since it uses its own exe. Not really recommended over the main game unless you speak fluent Japanese.
