now ur working on a potential coop mode... but u said no when the game was in pre-order.
feel a little bit... hmmm "angry" because now if i buy the game foor the coop mode, i did get the pre-order bonus.
You can do it as DLC if it takes too much of your time.
would have been more angry if I promiswd it would be in and then it wasnt.
What will def NOT be in is playing against a AI dungeon lord. That is a different beast. Only against AI alliance troops.
I read one devs post saying that all the skirmish maps are harder than the hardest campaign maps but to be honest as horde and as demons I had no problems in winning the skirmish maps (low money setting) just by using 2 traps (the chest / spider eggs) and every time someone enters my dungeon I just drop my minions on the traps as the enemy is in trap-range. Rinse and repeat the whole game - oh and I did research some spells but never actually had the feeling that there is need to use them, unfortunately as some are really nicely thought out.
The only thing that kept me playing was my curiousity to see the new monster version after upgrades and to take a look at all the new rooms (some monster concepts are great btw ;-)) but other than that there was no real challenge which makes me eager to try another playthrugh.
Also, even if it didnt exactly belong to this threat I just finished a 2,5h match with my cousin which pretty much ended in a draw.
He played horde, I was demons but it really came down to me assaulting him over and over again and him trapping, casting spells and generally turtling.
I was never able to get very far in his dungeon and he was to weak afterwards to counterattack.
Even though I build 9 resurrection pits and 7 healing pits and tried to just pressure him again and again it was to no avail.
The game pretty much came to a halt and we decided to share the overworld :-)
Is this supposed to be general outcome?
My strategy was to send 1 pit lord in to walk as far as possible ab even if he managed to spring all traps my troops had no chance to break thrugh. Micromanaging everything in this small space with all these bright effects flying around wasnt this easy also (but I tried). :-)
Sweet! when would it be on the game? (more or less)
Ok, I hope that it comes out soon!
