Kalypso DRM?
Will Dungeons 2 include Kalypso DRM? Anyone knows?

Yes. Somewhere, right of the price it says "Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Kalypso Launcher (Account registration optional)".
you will always need kalypso drm for kalypso games.

It's not really a DRM. It's a launcher which you can just skip entirely.

can you tell me if this game works with family share`? or do i have to buy it twice if my sis and me like to play? (single player of cours)

I don't even understand this form of DRM, pirates bypassed it long ago and will continue to bypass it day 1 on every new release. You're only screwing over the legitimate buyers who have to make 2-3 more clicks and spend 5 more seconds to launch your game.

Yes, family sharing should work. I see no reason why the launcher would interfere with that.

It wasn't mention it yet when I asked the question.

Personally I'm sorry but I still consider it DRM, just like uplay. I think it's a shame you guys don't trust potential customers. I also understand that it's probably not your own decision and that even if you agreed with me that the Kalypso launcher is bad and intrusive, it wouldn't change the fact your higher-up are probably the ones who want it to be in the game.
I am guessing the launcher is also the reason why Steam cloud is not included either (which imo is not cool either). If that's the case, that's even more reasons for me to not want to support this kind of launcher, since in that case it would mean it prevent basic Steam features to be added.

Kalypso Launcher has nothing to do with any Steam features. Steam cloud will be supported. Dont know why that box isnt ticked. We will change that soon.

Also, let me make this clear: you do NOT need to sign up or create an account for the Kalypso Launcher if you play the Steam version. You do not need to do anything. It is just a small information popup window before the main game. You can completely skip it.

Thanks for the answer. I'll probably give it a try at some point. With some luck I might even see a video of how the whole loading the game works.

Why though... just... why?
After Anna, it's a no go for me.
(which I found another craplypso.dll file for even though I bought the game)

Anna still had the old kind of Kalypso Launcher which required login. The new one does not require it.

You know what the next step is? removing it entirely.

Is there any advantage to logging into the launcher? For example with City Skylines if you logged on with your Paradox forum account you'd get a free park tile if I remember correctly.
