How to kill the giant worms?........

On level 6 you have to fight a bunch of giant worms in your dungeon, which are easy enough until you reach the Queen worm. All the creatures that it spawns explode and kill my units and whan I do reach it it just releases a few clouds of gas and my guys die. I was just wondering if anyone had any pointers.

try researching and using the prime evil since you are already level 3

is it in the Game of Winter DLC? because i don't know any other mission/skirmish map with those in.

Upgrade your units, use spells and generaly use everything at your disposal and attack. Tier 1 units dont cut it there anymore^^

@dr.evil yes this is the Game of Winter DLC.

Honestly i already had up some defences by the time i got to the queen. i summoned the prime evil, and the general, then immediately dropeed off all my units there aswell and the queen with her 2 gaint worm guards dropped pretty fast.

Yeah i beat the queen now I was already doing a lot of the things you were saying, I had just died for stupid reasons (dropping my units on top of the approaching maggot things) last time :P

Lucky you. I had them all die in the first spawn of small enemies and they all died.

Broodmother?
I build a small hallway and filled it with poision cloud traps.
Her spawn kept dieing.
From that point it was merely using evil strike back until she was dead.

worms are too much for me as well... i have beated mission 4 (very annoying and long) but spawning worms NEXT TO my throne room when im pushing towards second gold mine on surface in mission 6 ? and those small worms can destroy throne room in few seconds!!! + they explode after death and can wipe out whole defensive forces in one explosion (no manual control of monsters in underground).

im done with this game. ill watch rest of VERY FUNNY story lter on YT - hopefully someone record it and upload there.
