how to get units to the outside world?
i'm playing with my friend right now and we have no idea about this game, and i think we got everything figured out by now except for how to get units to the outside, out of the dungeon.
help

There's a gateway to the overworld(sometimes more than one)in your dungeon. Pick your units up and drop them onto the gateway, they'll go outside.

Lord is right. Also worth noting, the first spell you can research also allows you to place a garrison flag which I often place in the gateway (the big glowing face thing) which makes all units gather around it and automaticallt go outside.

If you do use this remember that it will take all units so there will be nothing left behind to produce except for the little snots. Also if you try send a unit back into the dungeon (highlighting (you can also click and drag an area to highlight multiple or double click to select all of a unit type on the surface) and right clicking the portal) - if the garison flag is still there they will automaitcally just pop back out, so clear the flag once they're all out.
