Not Working at all on my macbook

I'm trying to open the game and it gets stuck at a screen with the Kalypso logo. I can hear music but nothing else is happening...Anyone know any fixes?

not exactly sure what u mean. the game opens up and at the opening where the Kalypso logo shows it just stays there. I let it sit for like 15 minutes so see if it was just slow to open up and it does nothing. I tap through to make sure its not in a diff window but nothing,

And you're sure it's not a different window? It should open up a different window for the launcher.

could you minimise the game and see if you need to login to your kalypso profile. does this everytime on my p.c. it half loads and then minimises on its own so i can login to my kalypso account and then it plays

Same issue; hard process lockup on first run at the menu after clicking Campaign. After a few stutters (repainting the menu buttons in a disabled style) gave up and force quit. Subsequent runs lockup during the logo fade up, nothing to do but force quit.

MBP 15-inch, 2016, running Sierra 10.12.6.
Intel Core i7 @ 2.7 GHz (w/ some silly turbo boost)

Heck, bought the game on sale and am still going to request a refund. Pro tip: if you're going to sell it, make sure it works first.

Edited to add, after investigating the Windows equivalent of this thread: custom DRM? Yup, do not want. This might be yet another scenario where DRM harms legitimate users while doing NOTHING to stop theft at all. (598 seeds…)

Exactly the same thing as described here. Either hangs at Kalypso logo, or gets to main screen, and then hangs and beachballs when "Campaign" is pressed.
