What's the line between an inspiration and plagiarising?

i don't really care. if there is a legal thing, that's team cherry's concern. this game looks pretty damn good. of course, what make HK so amazing wasn't (only) that it looked good, but that it played good with some of the tightest controls and fluidity of movement ever. if this game manages that, along with an actual parry system, i'm all for it

while this is extremely similar to the point of almost seeming like the same game in an alternate universe, it's not like souls-likes aren't kinda the same deal. hollow knight got its first hollow-like :P

No assets are ripped out of Hollow Knight, however the grass is traced.
